Chelsea striker targets has become a trending topic on Google as fans are eager to know who Mauricio Pochettino could bring to Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine is said to be keen on buying a quality No.9 to help him turn things around at Chelsea, after Kai Havertz finished as the club’s top scorer in the Premier League with just seven goals in the 2022/23 season.
So, who are Chelsea‘s striker targets? Let’s take a look…
Chelsea Striker Targets
Victor Osimhen

Well, there is one man Pochettino seems to have right at the top of his shortlist – Victor Osimhen.
A story from 90min claims that the Nigeria international is the Argentine’s No.1 striker target this summer as the Blues aim to become a competitive outfit once again, with Pochettino personally requesting his arrival.
Osimhen has developed into one of Europe’s most prolific strikers in Naples, scoring 30 goals in 38 games across all competitions during the 2022/23 season as Napoli won their first Serie A title in 33 years.
Dusan Vlahovic

Staying in Italian football, Chelsea have also been strongly linked with a move for Juventus No.9 Dusan Vlahovic.
According to ESPN, the Blues have already submitted a £70m bid for the Serbia international, and the striker himself is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge after growing unhappy with life in Turin.
Vlahovic scored 14 goals in 42 appearances for Juventus across the 2022/23 campaign.
Lautaro Martinez

The Daily Mail believe Pochettino also has his fellow Argentine Lautaro Martinez on a shortlist of striker targets this summer.
Inter Milan’s No.10 – who plays with Enzo Fernandez on the international scene – has impressively scored 28 goals in all competitions this season to fire Inter Milan into the Champions League final.
Martinez also scored twice as Inter Milan defeated Fiorentina by a 2-1 scoreline in the Coppa Italia final.
Harry Kane

Now, we have placed the England international last on this list for a reason, as we’re taking the rumours with a giant pinch of salt.
A claim from talkSPORT states that Pochettino would love a reunion with Harry Kane at Chelsea, although he knows a deal is unlikely due to the stubbornness of Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy, who presumably has no intention of selling Tottenham’s talisman to a rival club.
Nevertheless, stranger things have happened in the transfer window across recent years, so nothing can be ruled out.
