Juventus are now keen to sign Romelu Lukaku as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic – a player Mauricio Pochettino would like to have at Chelsea.
That is according to the Telegraph.
So, what are the details involving Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, it was Rudy Galetti who claimed that Chelsea are keen to buy the Juventus No.9 this summer, with Pochettino in particular described as desperate to sign the Serbia international.
Now, Chelsea could have a golden opportunity to strike a deal with Juventus, as the Italian giants set their sights on Lukaku.
The Telegraph mention that Chelsea could even ‘kill two birds with one stone’ by striking a deal with Juventus for the Belgium international, in exchange for Vlahovic.
A story from the Mirror claimed that Chelsea are basically fed up of Lukaku, and are even willing to sell the £97.5m man for £34m after deciding against another loan exit for the 30-year-old.

Therefore, Juventus have a decent chance of signing the Belgian, although the Italian giants may expect some extra cash from the Blues on top of Lukaku’s inclusion.
While Chelsea value Lukaku at £34m, it has been said that Juventus want £68m for Vlahovic, so realistically, the Blues may need to offer £20m or £30m in addition to Lukaku for the 23-year-old’s signature.
Vlahovic swap for Lukaku makes most sense for Chelsea
In our view, this is the most obvious bit of business Chelsea can do this summer.
Pochettino wants Vlahovic, but doesn’t want Lukaku.
Juventus want Lukaku, and are keen to sell Vlahovic.
Therefore, Chelsea and Juventus can surely come to some sort of arrangement, even if it involves including more players in the deal.

A story from Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Chelsea had discussed giving Trevoh Chalobah and Christian Pulisic to Juventus, so perhaps one of those two may be thrown into negotiations as a sweetener.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Vlahovic could become a Blue this summer.
