Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi seems to be one of Chelsea’s top targets heading into the transfer window.
In fact, it has been claimed that Chelsea are convinced that they will land Guehi this summer as they look to strengthen their backline.
With Palace having valued the 24-year-old at £70m in the past, he is unlikely to come cheap. However, Chelsea may be able to offer one of their own stars in a cash-plus-player deal to bring the price down.
Axel Disasi and Trevoh Chalobah are two central defenders the Blues could part ways with in the summer, with the former already out on loan at Aston Villa.

Crystal Palace interested in Trevoh Chalobah
Chalobah has also spent some of this season out on loan, spending the first half of the campaign at Palace.
Chelsea recalled him back to Stamford Bridge in January after an injury crisis at the back, but it looks like there is a possibility of the 25-year-old returning to Selhurst Park.
According to the Daily Mirror, Palace are willing to accept Chalobah as part of any deal that would see Guehi join Chelsea.
The same outlet claims that the Blues value the former England U21 international at £30m, so he could always be sold to another club at that price if he is not included in the Guehi deal.
Guehi wants to play in the Champions League, which is something Chelsea may not be able to guarantee him. Whatever the case, Chalobah looks likely to leave west London in the summer.

Trevoh Chalobah’s long-term future
In January, despite being recalled to the club, The Chelsea Chronicle was told that Chalobah has no long-term future in west London.
Chalobah played pretty well against Tottenham Hotspur, the Blues’ last victory in the Premier League, but it looks like his future has already been decided.
While Guehi could be returning to the Bridge this summer, Chalobah is probably going to depart.
