Conor Gallagher suggests that he’s got no interest in leaving Chelsea, despite the fact that he’s about to enter the final 18 months of his contract.
That will certainly come as a relief to supporters who’ve grown fond of the new fan favourite.
Conor Gallagher, 23, is currently out of contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2025.
The England international seems to think his long-term future is still in West London, though.

Chelsea star is calm
Gallagher, who’s joined up with the England squad yet again during this international break, sounds very relaxed about his contract situation.
When discussing his Chelsea future, Gallagher said via The Telegraph: “I’m sure that will get sorted out, everyone knows Chelsea is my club and I love playing for them.”
TEAMtalk claimed last week that Chelsea are confident they can agree a new deal with Gallagher to extend his stay with them. In addition, the central midfielder is believed to be popular in the dressing room and a key player under Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
In our view, it would be great to get this new deal wrapped up very quickly to prevent any uncertainty for the player. In fairness, he sounds pretty relaxed for now.
Conor Gallagher deserves all the praise
We’re certainly noticing a shift in the general narrative of Gallagher this season, which is a credit to him for how he’s performed on the pitch so far.
The energetic youngster has been a nailed-on starter under Pochettino because of his regular top-quality displays.
Speaking via talkSPORT a few day ago, Alan Pardew called Gallagher a “top talent”. There’s no doubt that he’s beginning to show that on a more constant basis.
If the Blues are to start climbing the Premier League table after the international break, Gallagher’s likely to play a key part as a start in this new-look XI.
He’s certainly thriving in this roaming No 10 position that he’s now playing under Pochettino.
