Chelsea will not find it hard to convince one striker to join them before the transfer window closes if they really want him.
It has been a really busy summer for Chelsea, whose business does not look finished yet. After signing the likes of Joao Felix and Pedro Neto, the Blues still want to strengthen their attack.
Ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline, Chelsea are being linked with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Chelsea could make a play for Calvert-Lewin if they fail to sign Osimhen, who seems to be their No.1 target at this moment in time.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin wants to leave Everton as Chelsea circle
Based on reports, it does not look like Calvert-Lewin would turn down a move to Stamford Bridge.
According to CaughtOffside, the 27-year-old is keen to leave Everton amid interest from Chelsea and Newcastle United.
Newcastle have already tried to sign Calvert-Lewin this summer. Back in June, Sky Sports claimed that the Magpies were in talks with their Premier League rivals about signing the Englishman, but his £40m price tag proved too costly.
It will now be interesting to see if they return for Calvert-Lewin and whether Chelsea’s interest in him becomes more serious.
Earlier in the summer, it was reported that Chelsea wanted a younger option than Calvert-Lewin after looking at him then.
Arsenal also interested in Dominic Calvert-Lewin
If Chelsea and Enzo Maresca want to sign Calvert-Lewin before the deadline on Friday, then they may have to beat Arsenal to his signature.
CaughtOffside’s report claims that the Gunners have also been monitoring the England international.
Calvert-Lewin has plenty of experience playing in the Premier League and appears to be available after entering the final year of his contract. That is what probably appeals to the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal, while the Everton man is obviously not a terrible striker.
“I thought he was excellent,” Sean Dyche told TNT Sports after one of his performances last season.
