One of the transfer sagas gripping Chelsea fans this summer is the potential return of Joao Felix.
Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix, 24, is linked with a possible return to Chelsea in this transfer window.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey told The Chelsea Chronicle earlier this week that Jorge Mendes is working hard to help Felix join Chelsea. The football super agent is trying to get the player a return to Stamford Bridge, where he previously spent six months on loan in 2023.
Elsewhere, Football.London claims that Felix’s camp are confident of securing a Chelsea return.

Fabrizio Romano update on Joao Felix
Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano reported via X on Friday night that Chelsea and Atletico are now “getting closer” to reaching an agreement for the transfer of Felix.
It is explained that the clubs held positive discussions on Friday. In fact, all parties are trying to wrap up the transfer move by the end of this weekend.
Apparently, the Portugal international has now said yes to the contract terms at Chelsea.
Chelsea will be a fun watch next season
Surely, Chelsea will be one of the Premier League’s great entertainers next campaign with the squad that they’re assembling right now for Enzo Maresca to work with.
The Blues already have in their ranks eye-catching attackers such as Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku and Pedro Neto. They’re all superb dribblers with exquisite close control and ability in one-on-one situations. If Chelsea are about to throw Felix into the mix as well, it’s very exciting times for the supporters!
Felix’s first spell in West London was a tad bumpy. However, he certainly showed in several glimpses that he’s an outrageously talented footballer, but he just needs everything to click into gear for him.
