One recent Chelsea target could be set for a move to their Premier League rivals West Ham United this summer.
Chelsea have been in the market for a striker during this transfer window.
They have signed Marc Guiu from Barcelona, but the club have struggled to bring in Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion.
Both centre-forwards have been heavily linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
However, it was recently claimed that Chelsea have cooled their interest in Duran.

Chelsea could watch recent target join West Ham this summer
As of now, it looks unlikely that Chelsea will sign either Duran or Omorodion.
According to Fabrizio Romano, while Chelsea are still in contact with Omorodion’s people, Atletico do not want to sell the 20-year-old.
As for the latter, it appears that the Colombian could end up joining West Ham despite Chelsea targeting Duran earlier in the window.
Romano has claimed on X that the Hammers have already agreed personal terms with Duran and that they have made a £35m offer for his signature.
Should Chelsea match West Ham’s bid for Jhon Duran if it gets accepted?
Chelsea do look a bit light up front.
While they have signed Guiu, the Spaniard is only 18. It may be a bit much to ask him to support Nicolas Jackson in the Premier League this upcoming season, a division he has never played in before.
Nevertheless, it is probably not worth Chelsea getting into a transfer battle for Duran with Julen Lopetegui and West Ham.
The Colombia international scored just five goals in 23 top-flight appearances last season, though most of those appearances did come from off the bench.
Even so, you cannot help but feel that Chelsea need someone more experienced and more of a guarantee than 20-year-old Duran.
They already have 23-year-old Jackson who is far from being the finished article. If Chelsea want to go down the route of using a young striker to provide competition for Jackson, then they may as well just keep hold of Armando Broja or Guiu instead of spending a sizeable amount of money on an unproven No.9.
