There are clearly a few players at Chelsea who have caught the attention of Bayern Munich.
For example, Bayern Munich were interested in signing Josh Acheampong before he put pen to paper on a new contract at Chelsea.
It was also reported in the summer that the German giants were keen on Levi Colwill, who has since gone on to become an important player for Enzo Maresca.
They are now being linked with another Chelsea defender as they try to improve their backline.

Bayern Munich monitoring Axel Disasi
Axel Disasi has not had too many opportunities in the Premier League this season. His appearance against Everton last Sunday was only his fourth.
His future at Stamford Bridge has now become uncertain, with Bayern being a potential destination for him.
According to Calciomercato, Bayern are monitoring Disasi’s situation in west London, while Juventus are also said to be interested in the 26-year-old.
He is thought to be attracting interest from within the Premier League, too. Earlier this month, it was reported that West Ham United have Disasi on their radar as well.
Why Enzo Maresca will not want Axel Disasi to leave just yet
At some point, it would not be a surprise to see Disasi eventually leave Chelsea. Maresca has barely used him this season, preferring a centre-back partnership of Colwill and Wesley Fofana.
When the Chelsea manager has actually used Disasi, he has played him out of position at times.
Because of the amount of injuries Maresca currently has, though, you cannot see Disasi leaving Chelsea at this moment in time.
Fofana and Benoit Badiashile have both been sidelined, meaning that Colwill, Disasi and Tosin Adarabioyo are the only natural centre-half options Chelsea have available.
It means Disasi could get more opportunities in the middle in the coming weeks. Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin actually felt sorry for Disasi after having to watch him play at right-back against Everton.
