Darren Bent has been speaking about Harry Kane on talkSPORT – where he made an interesting claim about Chelsea.
The 39-year-old was discussing the Tottenham No.10 after Bayern Munich made a £60m bid for his signature on Tuesday.

What’s the story?
Well, Bent believes the England international would like to join Chelsea if he had the choice to join any club in Europe this summer.
The talkSPORT pundit said: “I think he’d like to have gone to Manchester City (last summer), but that’s obviously off the table. I think he’d like to go to Chelsea, because of Pochettino.”
According to 90min, Spurs are expecting the Blues to make a move for the 29-year-old at some point this summer, although no approach has been made as of yet – as far as we know.
Kane – who scored 32 goals last season – only has 12 months remaining on his contract at Tottenham, and according to BILD, he has agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich.
If that is true, then Tottenham’s all-time top scorer is clearly ready to finally leave N17 this summer, although we highly doubt Daniel Levy would allow Chelsea to sign him.
Who Chelsea could sign instead of Kane
As aforesaid, we can’t see Chelsea signing Kane this summer, purely due to Levy’s stubborn nature.
Therefore, Pochettino may have to look at alternatives.
So far this summer, Chelsea have been strongly linked with moves for the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Victor Osimhen and Lautaro Martinez, all of whom play their football in Italy.
According to the Evening Standard, there is also interest in Adama Bojang, although the 19-year-old is more likely to be one for the future if he was signed.
