AC Milan are set to sign Joao Felix on loan from Chelsea, and the Blues could be about to make quite a bit of money from the deal.
Joao Felix is being allowed to leave Chelsea after failing to break into the starting XI this season.
Under Enzo Maresca, the forward has only made a few starts in the Premier League. Given his talent, some Chelsea supporters will be sad to him go, even if it is just temporarily.
The Blues, though, will not be handing Felix over for free. Felix will now miss Chelsea’s game against West Ham United tonight.

Chelsea set to bank more than £5m for Joao Felix loan
At this stage, Felix looks destined for the San Siro. It would be a major shock if he moved somewhere else or remained at Stamford Bridge.
If the Portuguese joins Milan, then Chelsea will receive in excess of £5m for his loan move, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
It is a sizeable loan fee, but Chelsea paid £45m for Felix in the 2024 summer transfer window. As of now, the former Atletico Madrid star looks like a waste of money and someone whom they may eventually have to take a loss on.
Whatever the case, Felix wants a deadline day move and his wish is almost certain to be granted.

Joao Felix loan fee larger than Renato Veiga’s
Chelsea have already loaned out one of their summer signings this transfer window, allowing Renato Veiga to join Juventus until the end of the season.
According to BBC Sport, the Blues pocketed just under £4m after letting the defender move to Italy.
Like Felix, Veiga has barely played this season and cost Chelsea £12m. They have made a large chunk of that back from just a loan deal, so that was good business.
The decision to let Felix go, though, is much more questionable. He was a big investment and is an attacker with a lot of quality.
