Chelsea could already be about to let one of their signings from the last transfer window go.

Chelsea were extremely busy last summer, bringing in the likes of Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Renato Veiga.

However, several of their signings have struggled to find game time at Stamford Bridge this season.

It has now been claimed, for example, that Felix is unhappy with life under Enzo Maresca.

Renato Veiga offered to Juventus

It would not be a surprise if Veiga was unhappy at Chelsea either. The defender has made just one start in the Premier League in the current campaign.

There has now been talk about Veiga potentially leaving west London despite having only arrived last summer.

According to Calciomercato, the Portuguese has been offered to Juventus and Chelsea are prepared to let him go.

If Veiga does depart this month, he is unlikely to be the only exit. Both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka are attracting interest from West Ham.

What Roberto Martinez has said about Renato Veiga

Veiga’s move from Basel to Chelsea has not been a complete disaster. It has helped him to become a Portugal international, with the 21-year-old winning his first three senior caps as a Chelsea player.

When Roberto Martinez spoke about Veiga back in October after Portugal’s 3-1 win against Poland, he said: “I’m very satisfied because he didn’t play like a young player, he showed an incredible maturity. Good connection with Ruben Dias and Nuno Mendes. And it was demanding to play against Poland and against [Robert] Lewandowski.

“He was focused and aggressive, he won all the duels, he is very strong in the air. I really liked his performance.”

Veiga clearly, then, has something to give. Maresca has underused him this season, sometimes opting to play Malo Gusto at left-back instead of the former Basel man.

When you consider that, you cannot blame Veiga if he does want to leave Stamford Bridge this month.

It would leave Chelsea extremely light in the left-back position, though, with Maresca not really seeing Ben Chilwell as a viable option. The England international has had it worse than his teammate, not appearing in the Premier League at all this season. He is obviously another one who could depart Chelsea during this transfer window.
