Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on his Substack that Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may not be at the club when January is over.
The striker was brought in on deadline day of the last summer transfer window, with the Blues seemingly not happy with their attacking options.
It is pretty obvious that the deal was done by the owners with the knowledge that manager at the time Thomas Tuchel had experience working with the 33-year-old.

The pair had worked together to great success with Borussia Dortmund, however had just one game together in the Champions League before the German was sacked as Chelsea manager.
Despite scoring three goals early in Graham Potter’s reign in charge, things have certainly taken a turn for the worse since.
Aubameyang is on a dry run of form in front of goal, and his conduct during the last game in the league against Manchester City certainly raised some eyebrows.
Aubameyang could be sold
After being substituted on after just a few minutes following Raheem Sterling’s injury, he was replaced later in the game as the Blues chased a goal in the final few minutes.
His reaction was one of anger towards Potter, which may explain why he was absent from the matchday squad entirely for the FA Cup fixture yesterday.

Now, Phillips has claimed that the Gabonese striker could even be gone before the January transfer window closes.
Although the Blues are set to add Christopher Nkunku to their ranks at the end of the season, their striking options are looking pretty bleak for the current campaign.
Despite adding David Datro Fofana to their ranks, the season-ending injury to Armando Broja has left them in a precarious position if they don’t strengthen further in the role going forwards.
