Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed to GiveMeSport that Mateo Kovacic is considering his future at Chelsea.
The Croatian has been improving every season he has been at Stamford Bridge, with him now a crucial member of the first team years on after his £40m move.
His niggling injury problems have affected the Blues this season, with them scrambling for options at times in his absence.

Kovacic’s abilities look likely to be the perfect partner to Enzo Fernandez, who made his debut at Stamford Bridge last Friday.
The World Cup winner proved exactly why he was wanted so much by Chelsea during January, running the show from midfield against Fulham.
However, there is of course a chance the pairing does not have longer than a few months together.
Kovacic considering his future
Phillips has claimed that the Croatian international is looking to assess his options as to where he plays his football in the coming seasons.
He said: “I’ve been hearing and I’ve been reporting for months now that Kovačić has been considering his next move. With his contract running down, I don’t expect that to change.”

With N’golo Kante and Denis Zakaria’s current deals meaning that they both see their futures at Stamford Bridge beyond this season uncertain, a new midfielder may be on the agenda for the club.
It has already been claimed today that January’s move for Fernandez could see them out of the running for Declan Rice, who has been a long-term target for numerous managers at Chelsea.
They may return with their interest for Moises Caicedo from Brighton, after he made it clear last month that he was looking to leave the club. It was claimed a lot in January that the player is more likely to be allowed to leave at the end of the season, and they may face Arsenal again in a battle to sign him.
