Reports from Italy have claimed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has specifically requested the club sign Paulo Dybala this summer.
According to RomaPress, the Blues have the option to sign him for his release clause of just £10m, which is available to sides outside of Serie A.
Dybala’s qualities have gone under the radar in recent seasons, with him perhaps not living up to the hype he created during his time at Juventus.

However, his display recently in the Europa League final reminded everyone of what he can do on the big stage.
He opened the scoring against Sevilla in the final, although his side were defeated on penalties to the competition’s specialists.
While the game was most noted for Jose Mourinho’s meltdown at the refereeing of Anthony Taylor, Dybala’s very solid performance in the end came up short.
Pochettino wants Dybala
It has now been claimed that he is on the list of potential players for Chelsea to bring in this summer, with it reported that this is of the wish of the new manager.
Pochettino’s pre-season at the club has now got underway, with a host of first team players already out the door after a dire last campaign.

Headlined by the departures of Mason Mount and Kai Havertz, the club have raised plenty of funds already as they look to strengthen going into next season.
However, it is one of the less valuable potential additions that the Argentine has personally requested the club make this summer.
While Dybala has predominantly shone better playing alongside a more natural striker, that role could perhaps already be filled by Christopher Nkunku, who has already signed from RB Leipzig.
