Journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino really wants Chelsea to keep hold of Kai Havertz this summer.
He told GiveMeSport that the German international is still pushing for a move away from Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.
Interest in signing Havertz originally came more than a week ago, when it was reported that Real Madrid were interested in a deal due to the interest in him from Carlo Ancelotti.

However, it soon emerged that the La Liga side were not interested in paying the fee the Blues wanted in order to part ways with him.
When that deal looked off the table though, news broke that Arsenal were now interested in bringing him in.
Pochettino wants to keep Havertz
It has still been claimed that the 23-year-old would like a move to the Emirates, even if it rules him out of the move to Madrid for now.
Galetti has now claimed that Pochettino wants the club to keep hold of the attacker, however the decision may be out of his hands.

He said: “Havertz wants the move now and he’s pushing for a positive closing of the talks. And Pochettino, on his side, would like him to stay.”
Many supporters are not particularly upset with rumours that he could be on the move, with them just hoping that they get a decent fee for him if he does leave.
The German’s inconsistency in front of goal as well as the inability to nail down the best position for him in the team has left Chelsea probably better off taking the money for him.
