Romelu Lukaku is the Chelsea player who Napoli and Antonio Conte have prioritised signing this summer.

Napoli have asked for Romelu Lukaku in a potential swap deal that would see Victor Osimhen join Chelsea.

However, they also appear to be considering the idea of signing another player from Chelsea before the transfer window closes.

More exits at Stamford Bridge are expected, with the Blues having a really big squad at the moment.

The likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Trevoh Chalobah are still at Chelsea after being excluded from the team’s trip to the United States.

Napoli interested in Kepa Arrizabalaga

Lukaku is not the only Chelsea player who could join Napoli this summer. It now looks like Kepa could also be moving to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are considering signing the 29-year-old as they weigh up bringing in a new goalkeeper.

It is good news for Chelsea, as the Blues will be desperate to offload Kepa, who will not be part of Enzo Maresca‘s squad.

The Italian already has four goalkeepers in his ranks, including new signing Filip Jorgensen. There is simply no room for Kepa.

The Spain international cost Chelsea £71m when he joined them from Athletic Bilbao back in 2018. If he is not going to play, then he is someone who they have to get off their books.

Chelsea need Kepa Arrizabalaga and Romelu Lukaku to join Napoli

Not only did Kepa and Lukaku cost Chelsea huge money, but they are also on massive wages at Stamford Bridge.

As per Spotrac, Kepa earns £150,000 a week, while Lukaku is pocketing £325,000, making him the joint-highest earner at the club alongside Raheem Sterling.

That is so much money, especially for players who are nowhere near the first team. If Chelsea can agree something with Napoli, then they have to.

Kepa’s dream is Real Madrid, but with Andriy Lunin still at the club to provide cover for Thibaut Courtois, Carlo Ancelotti will not be able to find a place for him in his squad.
