Hakim Ziyech’s mini-renaissance might not be enough to maintain his place at Chelsea.
According to Ben Jacobs, the Moroccan international could be on the move this month, despite seemingly turning a corner in his stagnated career.
“A Hakim Ziyech exit before the window shuts is still possible. Several suitors have enquired with Roma the latest. Ziyech’s wages are still a stumbling block to some clubs. One to watch this week,” wrote Jacobs about the enlightened attacker.
The 29-year-old has been largely tipped to take flight from Chelsea, either in the next few weeks or at the end of the season.

He has largely stood on the outskirts of the squad, looking in as others have taken his place.
Yet, Ziyech’s wonderful World Cup campaign has relight the flame in his watered-down belly.
Hakim Ziyech looks happier at Chelsea
Since returning from Qatar, the forward has clearly rediscovered a confidence and charisma that’s often deserted him during his days at Chelsea.
Graham Potter has used the former Ajax man in the last six games and started him in four of those.
The only fixture he’s missed post the World Cup was the 2-0 victory over Bournemouth at the end of December.
Potter’s only other win in this period was against Crystal Palace, a crucial triumph that was orchestrated by Ziyech.
His cross located the head of Kai Havertz, who put the Blues ahead with just under 30-minutes remaining.

However, even this crucial contribution might not be enough to save Ziyech’s skin.
With a host of new players providing competition in the front line, the older member of the pack could be sacrificed.
Along with Roma, Everton are also said to be attracted to the left-footed creator.
The number of interested parties might grow further if Ziyech continues his resurgence.
