West Ham are interested in signing Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
That is according to a report from The Guardian.
They claim that West Ham manager David Moyes could be on the search for a new right-sided defender during the summer transfer window.
It is understood that the Hammers have now shortlisted Trevoh Chalobah, 24, as a transfer target.
The report adds that Inter Milan is also keen on Chelsea’s centre-back, who may need to stay at Stamford Bridge due to Wesley Fofana’s injury blow.

We’re very intrigued to see what happens from now until the end of the window with Chalobah, who’s featured in both of Chelsea’s pre-season games so far under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Evening Standard recently claimed that Chelsea may be prepared to sell Chalobah if they receive a suitable offer for him. They added that he’s valued at £25million, too.
In our view, the Blues should keep Chalobah for the upcoming season.
The English defender rarely lets the side down whenever he plays. Also, he provides cover for both centre-back and right-back in the squad.

Chalobah has been fairly consistent and quite underrated since stepping into Chelsea’s senior group.
Frank Lampard, who returned as the Blues caretaker boss at the end of last season, spoke very highly of Chalobah back in May. In particular, he highlighted the way he impressed him on the training pitch.
When discussing Chalobah, Lampard told The Evening Standard: “He’s a delight to train with every day because he comes in with enthusiasm. He’s low maintenance, and when you talk about the things you want, he tries to do them on the pitch — which is a great thing.”
