Nottingham Forest have no plans to revive their interest in one Chelsea player this summer.
Chelsea and Nottingham Forest did business last summer, with the former selling Callum Hudson-Odoi to the latter.
However, Forest wanted another player at Stamford Bridge, who is now available. But it does not look like he will be moving to the City Ground during this transfer window.
Several exits are expected at Chelsea before the market shuts, including Romelu Lukaku.
Napoli and Lukaku have shaken hands on a deal, though a transfer may not go through until Victor Osimhen is sold.

Nottingham Forest will not return for Trevoh Chalobah
Trevoh Chalobah can leave Chelsea this summer, but the central defender will not be joining Forest despite the Premier League club being interested in him a year ago.
According to GiveMeSport, after being snubbed by Chalobah last summer, Forest have no plans of making another bid for the 25-year-old.
The same outlet claims that Chelsea are looking for £30m for Chalobah, £5m more than the offer Forest made in 2023.
His future at Stamford Bridge is now all but over after being left out of the squad for the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
Chelsea could also sell Djordje Petrovic
Chalobah is not the only player Chelsea could end up forcing out of the club this summer. Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic‘s future is also in doubt.
Petrovic’s Chelsea career could be ending soon, with the Blues being linked with Villarreal’s Filip Jorgensen.
Jorgensen wants to join Chelsea instead of Marseille, and his arrival would surely spell the end for either Petrovic or Robert Sanchez.
Both goalkeepers only arrived in west London last year, but Chelsea are already trying to upgrade on them by the looks of things.
Before the transfer window closes, then, Chalobah, Petrovic and Lukaku are just a few players who could depart Stamford Bridge. For Chalobah, who has been at Chelsea his whole life, it is a disappointing situation to find himself in.
