In the January transfer window, Crystal Palace signed Ben Chilwell from Chelsea and could now return to their London rivals for another one of their unwanted players.
Palace opted not to extend Chilwell’s loan or sign the defender permanently in the end, leaving him stuck at Chelsea.
It has been claimed that Frank Lampard wants Chilwell at Coventry City, but the Championship club are yet to make a move for him.
As for Palace, they are now showing interest in one of the 28-year-old’s Chelsea teammates.

Crystal Palace considering Axel Disasi
Palace could be about to lose their captain Marc Guehi to Liverpool, which would leave them needing a replacement.
According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, that replacement could come in the form of Chelsea outcast Axel Disasi.
Solhekol has claimed on X that Palace are considering making a late move for Disasi as they prepare for Guehi’s potential departure.
Disasi is not the only Chelsea centre-back who has been linked with a transfer to Selhurst Park.
It is thought that Palace have also considered Trevoh Chalobah, who spent the first half of last season out on loan at the Eagles.
As well as exits, there could also be arrivals at Stamford Bridge before the 7pm transfer deadline. The Blues remain interested in Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez and could sign a new striker to replace the injured Liam Delap.

Axel Disasi’s other suitors
Chelsea may still be able to offload Disasi even after the transfer window in England closes on Monday evening.
The central defender is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with the market there not shutting until next week.
Towards the end of last month, it was reported that Saudi Pro League side Neom were preparing to make an offer for Disasi.
In England, Bournemouth have also been in for Disasi, but the chances of the Frenchman heading to the Vitality Stadium now appear very slim.
