Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Moises Caicedo has been in regular contact with some senior Chelsea players.
He took to Twitter to state that this is one of the reasons why he is so fixated on a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Earlier today saw it be claimed that Caicedo has informed Liverpool that he is only interested in a move to Chelsea this summer.

The Blues have made the Ecuadorian their number one target to sign this summer, however have been hesitant to pay the fee required by Brighton to allow him to leave.
Last night, the Reds had a bid accepted by the Seagulls for him, with the price being a British transfer record.
However, the fact that the player has not yet travelled for his medical on Merseyside does not offer much suggestion that Anfield would be his first choice up to now.
Caicedo in touch with Chelsea squad
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will make another bid that will exceed Liverpool’s offer for the player described as ‘incredible’ by Adam Lallana.
Jacobs has claimed that one of the main reasons he is convinced by the Chelsea project is that he has been in contact with some Blues this summer.

He said: “Understand that Moises Caicedo has been in regular contact with multiple senior players at Chelsea.
“It’s one of the reasons he’s been so fixed on the move. Now up to Chelsea to formally counter Liverpool’s accepted offer.”
Whichever side does not end up with the addition of Caicedo will surely make their move for Romeo Lavia from Southampton. The Championship side have rejected bids from both sides so far.
