Chelsea player Baba Rahman is reportedly ‘unlikely’ to have a future at Stamford Bridge moving forward.
The Daily Mail claims it’s ‘unlikely’ the 27-year-old defender can carve out a career in a Chelsea shirt.
This comes after it was recently reported there are four clubs interested in his signature this summer. Apparently, Middlesbrough, Reading, PAOK FC and Augsburg are possible suitors.
Rahman, who’s been on Chelsea’s books since 2015, will return to west London after a decent season-long loan in the Championship with Reading.
He’s one of numerous left-backs that will report for pre-season as it stands, albeit some are linked with exits. For example, it’s been reported Barcelona are working on a deal to sign Blues wing-back Marcos Alonso.

Rahman unlikely to have Chelsea future
It’s no big surprise to hear Rahman’s future is likely to lie away from the Bridge.
There’s still another two years remaining on the Ghana international’s contract at Chelsea, so it’ll be interesting to see if he can be sold for cash this summer.
The recent pattern has been to send the full-back out on loan, something that’s happened in most seasons recently.
Chelsea’s left wing-back role seems locked down by England star Ben Chilwell. Blues fans are excited about the prospect of watching him return from injury in the new season.
In addition, it’s been claimed Thomas Tuchel’s side are targeting Wolverhampton Wanders left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri as a target this summer.
