Chelsea have made a €30million offer for PSV Eindhoven young winger Noni Madueke despite the Dutch club’s effort to fend off their approach, according to ESPN.
Having already signed David Datro Fofana and Joao Felix (on loan) this month, the Blues do not seem to plan to stop bringing in more attacking talents to their ranks.
Their latest target is reportedly Madueke, a young English right winger and a former Tottenham Hotspur academy player.
ESPN claims that Chelsea had already made an enquiry for the 20-year-old earlier this week before submitting an official bid worth €30m (£26.6m). Dutch outlet ED also supports this claim.
Interestingly, PSV were adamant that they are not interested in selling Madueke, at least in January.
PSV, who sit third in the Eredivise table, have recently sold Cody Gakpo to Liverpool and are understandably against losing another attacker in this transfer window.

At PSV, however, players are usually sellable assets for the right price.
Their head coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy, is clearly aware of the situation.
“I know of the interest in Noni,” said the former Netherlands international this week.
“As a coach, you just want to keep your best players, that’s clear.
“But there can also be situations like with Cody [Gakpo], where a certain type of club comes with a certain offer.
“Then it might be that it’s no longer possible to stop the deal from taking place.
“I hope that’s not going to be the scenario this time, but I can not exclude it.”
ESPN adds that, aside from Madueke, Chelsea remain interested in Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhailo Mudryk.
However, the Ukrainian side is reportedly looking for a fee in the region of €100m (£88.6m) for the winger and Arsenal are leading the race to sign him, anyway.
Based on these reports, Madueke, whom Chelsea manager Graham Potter has reportedly tracked for some time, seems to be a more viable option.
