Chelsea have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea and Barcelona are two clubs in ongoing discussions about various transfers.
The report includes the intriguing line that 33-year-old Aubameyang has now been offered to the Blues.
It’s been claimed that the ex-Arsenal forward is a player on Chelsea’s wishlist. He would reportedly be open to the idea of a transfer to Stamford Bridge, too.

Chelsea offered Aubameyang
Remarkably, Aubameyang to Chelsea is a transfer story that’s gathering a lot of pace inside the 24 hours since it first broke.
Robert Lewandowski’s arrival at the Camp Nou this summer does leave question marks about Aubameyang’s role in the Barcelona side, so could a swift return to England be on the cards?
There’s no doubt Thomas Tuchel’s Blues could do with another striker.
It’s been a problem part of the pitch for several years now in West London, with even proven goalscorer Romelu Lukaku struggling to fit into the plans last season.
Aubameyang, who was a goal machine for both Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund earlier in his career, is definitely an intriguing target to crop up for the Blues.

Sour Arsenal end
One minor dent against Aubameyang’s name is with how his time in North London came to an end.
Alan Shearer described some of his behaviour last season at Arsenal as “unacceptable”, referring to disciplinary problems off the field that saw Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta drop him from his squad on more than one occasion. He eventually got a move to Barcelona in the New Year, where he started to get back to his very best.
If he arrives to Chelsea, we need the very best version of Aubameyang both on and off the pitch.
