Reports have claimed that Chelsea have set their asking price for Mason Mount at £70m for this summer.
According to The Athletic, it would take this amount of money for the Blues to part ways with the 24-year-old despite him about to enter the last year of his contract.
Talks regarding a new deal have seemingly come to a standstill, opening the possibility that the club’s two-time player of the year will leave at the end of this season.

He is not short of suitors either. Both Liverpool and Manchester United have been reportedly interested in a deal to keep the England international in the Premier League.
Now though, a new option abroad could be about to pop up. Since Thomas Tuchel took over at Bayern Munich, rumours have sparked that the duo could be about to link up after their successful time together in West London.
Chelsea want £70m for Mount
If he does leave, it doesn’t seem as if the Blues will let him go cheap. It has been claimed they are still looking for £70m to sell him.
There is a reported hope that talks have not reached a point where they are beyond saveable to keep Mount at the club he has been at for so many years now.

Both parties seemingly have always wanted to find a resolution that sees him remain a Chelsea player, despite what has been a poor season by his standards.
His absence from the squad in recent weeks has unfortunately for him coincided with them returning to winning ways, as they went on a three game run before being held by Everton.
This form makes it very difficult for Graham Potter to reintegrate him to the starting side when he returns, signalling more frustration for Mount to come.
