Chelsea are now confident they can win the race to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen this summer.
Victor Osimhen, who’s having a sensational season in Napoli colours, is a popular topic for discussion in the transfer rumour mill.
The Nigerian striker has 25 goals in 29 appearances for his club so far this campaign.
The Daily Mail claimed back in January that Napoli could demand £100million-plus to sell Osimhen.
Now, fresh reports suggest Chelsea think they can bring the powerful centre-forward to Stamford Bridge next season.

According to 90min, Chelsea believe they can sign Osimhen in the summer window even without the offer of Champions League next season. Unless Frank Lampard’s side produce something remarkable in this season’s Champions League, they won’t be in Europe’s top club competition next year.
The report claims Chelsea still believe they can outbid any of their rivals to sign the Napoli frontman.
It is understood that the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have all made contact with Osimhen’s representatives.
However, the Blues are preparing their own club-record bid and are confident he will choose to join them.

We won’t believe it until he’s holding up a Chelsea shirt. However, what an incredible signing this would be.
The Blues have spent so much money in the wrong places during the past two windows, ignoring the fact they’re crying out for an elite striker.
Described as “quick” and “aggressive” recently by Ally McCoist, Osimhen looks tailor-made to be a hit in the Premier League.
Chelsea will confirm to anyone that there is never any guarantee when you sign a forward, but Napoli’s ace looks the real deal and is growing into a superstar.
