Reports from France have claimed that Chelsea are interested in proposing a swap deal to get Kingsley Coman to Stamford Bridge.

According to Sport via Goal, the Blues would be willing to let World Cup star Christian Pulisic leave the club in exchange for the France international.

Coman has appeared in all four matches for France so far at this tournament, with him currently pushing manager Didier Deschamps for a place in the starting line-up to face England this weekend.

However, a start is difficult to come by for the 26-year-old at Bayern, who are not having everything their own way in the Bundesliga this season.

He has already written himself into club history however, after scoring the only goal of the 2020 Champions League final against PSG.

This goal was heartbreaking for current Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, who must have thought his opportunity to win the biggest club prize for the first time had slipped away in that final.

Nevertheless, the Brazil international took his chance to rectify those days just 12 months later.

According to Sport via Goal, Coman is out of favour in the eyes of current manager Julian Nagelsmann, and this could tempt them in taking a chance on Pulisic.

The US international has been a shining light during this current World Cup. He put in a player of the match display against England.

He led the national team to a Round of 16 game against Netherlands, where they fell short due to the brilliance of Chelsea target Denzel Dumfries.

Despite impressing on the international stage, there has been no indication that Pulisic is prepared to commit his future to Stamford Bridge, likely given the lack of opportunities he has received in recent months.

Graham Potter will however no doubt be tempted to give his Chelsea career one last chance.
