Chelsea central defender Trevoh Chalobah has been out of the first-team picture since July.
Trevoh Chalobah was excluded from Chelsea‘s trip to the United States for pre-season and is no longer part of the senior squad.
However, the 25-year-old remains at Stamford Bridge, with just a few days left in the transfer window.
It is a bit of a surprise given that Chalobah has known since July that he is not part of Chelsea’s plans. It has been claimed that Chalobah could entertain an approach from Crystal Palace as he looks to stay in London, so an exit is still possible.

Trevoh Chalobah being picky about transfer
It seems like Chalobah is not going to join just any team, despite there currently being no room for him at Chelsea.
According to journalist Jacob Steinberg, Chalobah is yet to receive an offer that actually appeals to him, hence why he is still at Stamford Bridge.
Chalobah could be playing a dangerous game by remaining at Chelsea, though. With Enzo Maresca having Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi to call upon, he is unlikely to play under the Italian this season.
Disasi could leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes, but even if the Frenchman does, there will still be a lot of names in front of Chalobah.
Ben Chilwell cannot imitate Trevoh Chalobah
Ben Chilwell is another player who has been frozen out by the new Chelsea manager. He would be unwise to follow Chalobah’s lead, though.
Maresca has made it clear that the left-back is not a good fit for his system; there is simply no way back for him.
Chilwell is an England international as well and will want to get back into the Three Lions set-up. That is not going to happen if he remains at Chelsea.
It has been reported that Manchester United can sign Chilwell if they want to, but the Red Devils are yet to make a move for him.
