One of the top performers from the back end of last season for Chelsea has been nowhere to be seen since the new campaign arrived.
Trevoh Chalobah has been frozen out of first team proceedings, after he was left off the pre-season tour of the United States this summer.
Many have not been impressed with the treatment of the academy graduate by the club. Gary Neville described it as ‘heartbreaking’ for Chalobah that he seems to be being kicked out of his boyhood club.

Chalobah could stay at Chelsea if Axel Disasi is sold
The same fate met Conor Gallagher earlier this summer, however he already looks a popular addition with his new fans at Atletico Madrid.
However, it looks as if there is a chance for there to be a twist in the tale. According to The Athletic, there is a world in which Chalobah now stays at Chelsea.
The report goes on to say that this is if Axel Disasi leaves the club this summer, with Newcastle remaining very interested in bringing him in.
Central defense has been a position that has been ravaged by injuries at Stamford Bridge in recent years, meaning having the appropriate cover is going to be crucial for Enzo Maresca to succeed.
Enzo Maresca wants Disasi replacement
Wesley Fofana didn’t play a minute last season due to his serious knee issue, and therefore will be delighted that he has gotten through the first two games of the season without any concern.
Disasi is yet to be named in the matchday squad for a league game this season, potentially proving that his time at the club as an important member is coming to an end.
It has been claimed that Maresca wants a replacement if Disasi is sold, however he may find that from within in the form of Chalobah, with a move away in the next few days seeming unlikely for the Englishman.
