Chelsea completed many deals on transfer deadline day and throughout the summer window.
Over 40 players have either joined the West London club or departed Stamford Bridge in the last few months.
However, the Blues still did not do quite as much business as they would have liked this summer.
The Chelsea Chronicle looks at three transfer-listed players who did not find new clubs on deadline day.

Raheem Sterling
Raheem Sterling is Chelsea’s highest-paid player on the 2025/26 payroll, so the club were extremely keen to offload him this summer.
And despite struggling at Arsenal last season, Premier League sides Fulham, Crystal Palace, and West Ham were all interested in signing him.
However, the Blues ran out of time to agree a deal with any of those clubs, and it now seems likely that Sterling will stay at least until January.
Axel Disasi
Axel Disasi spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Aston Villa and played 10 times in all competitions.
Graham Potter’s West Ham showed interest in signing Disasi on deadline day, but he was not convinced by a move to Chelsea’s London rivals.
Disasi can either move to one of the few countries where the transfer window is still open, or face months without playing time at Stamford Bridge.
Tyrique George
Tyrique George was expected to sign for Fulham for £22 million in the final hours of transfer deadline day.
George played against Fulham in Chelsea’s 2-0 win on Saturday, but he became surplus to requirements after Alejandro Garnacho joined the Blues.
He will probably receive some minutes in the cup competitions before looking for a permanent exit again in January.
