Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Monaco defender Axel Disasi is set to undertake his medical at Chelsea today.
He took to Twitter to state that a deal has been agreed in the region of £38m between the two sides to see him make the move this summer.
Disasi is set to move to Stamford Bridge at a time where centre-backs are in high demand right now.

The 25-year-old will be looking forward to potentially reforming a partnership at the back with Benoit Badiashile.
The deal could spell the end of Trevoh Chalobah though, who the club are reportedly still keen to sell this summer.
It emerged earlier today that the 24-year-old has decided that he is open to leaving the club after feeling like his opportunities to the first team were going to be limited.
Disasi Chelsea medical today
Although they were likely to play on different sides, any chances at a first team role like have been pushed further down the pecking order with Levi Colwill now set to sign a new six-year contract.
After much debate, the Englishman is now set to tie down his long-term future to a career in West London
This is similar to Disasi, who Romano says is in London today for a medical before making his move official.

He said: “Axel Disasi, in England today in order to undergo medical and sign five year deal as new Chelsea player on €45m deal from Monaco.
“Told Chelsea and Monaco already exchanged docs and contracts, deal is almost sealed.”
With Thiago Silva surely entering the last season of his career at the top level, bringing in another quality centre-back is definitely something the club noticed as a necessity this summer.
