Chelsea are closing in on the signings of Romeo Lavia and Michael Olise – but Mauricio Pochettino does not intend to stop there.
That is according to The Times.
So, what are Chelsea planning to do after signing Romeo Lavia and Michael Olise? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well – according to Football London – Chelsea are hoping to have the Belgium international signed within 36 hours after agreeing a £50m fee with Southampton, and the midfield maestro himself rejected Liverpool.
Chelsea – as detailed in the aforementioned story by The Times – have also triggered the £35m release clause of Crystal Palace No.7 Olise.
Like Lavia, the France Under-21 international will now undergo a medical in west London before joining Moises Caicedo at Stamford Bridge.
After those two deals are finalised, Pochettino will try to sign another new goalkeeper.

The Times believe the Argentine is hoping to find a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga after the Spaniard surprisingly joined Real Madrid on loan for the 2023/24 campaign.
Pochettino has already signed Robert Sanchez in a £25m deal from Brighton, although he arrived to replace Edouard Mendy, who left for Al Ahli earlier this summer.
Who Chelsea could sign after Romeo Lavia and Michael Olise
There have actually been a few goalkeepers linked with moves to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, so let’s take a look at who could arrive to compete against Sanchez.
The Evening Standard believe Valencia No.25 Giorgi Mamardashvili is an option for Pochettino.
That same story also mentions that Gregor Kobel of Borussia Dortmund is on Chelsea’s radar too.

Elsewhere – according to A Bola – Chelsea could still decide to trigger the £65m release clause of Porto No.99 Diogo Costa, after enquiring about the Portugal international earlier this summer.
Be sure to keep an eye on developments at Chelsea, as signings are coming thick and fast.
