Alejandro Garnacho is currently out of the picture at Manchester United under Ruben Amorim’s management. Will he secure a move to Chelsea before the summer transfer window shuts, though?
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move to sign Man Utd winger Alejandro Garnacho, 21, this summer, but time is running out to conclude a deal.
Reports claim that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Garnacho, and a transfer move is very advanced behind the scenes. However, it feels like this transfer saga has dragged on all summer.
Chelsea’s £30m valuation of Garnacho is still some way off Man Utd’s £50m asking price.

Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho price tag is being led by Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku valuation
While Chelsea’s pursuit to sign Garnacho has been widely discussed this summer, it has also been speculated that the Blues are attempting to offload Christopher Nkunku.
According to BBC Sport, Man Utd insiders note that Chelsea are reluctant to sell 27-year-old attacker Nkunku to Bayern Munich for less than £50m.
It is explained that Old Trafford officials feel that Nkunku’s £50m price tag should guide Chelsea’s valuation of Garnacho, who they view as a better player.
The report adds that Man Utd are braced for an offer from Chelsea for Garnacho. Even so, they are determined not to let the South American wide man go cheaply.
Bayern are ‘going strong’ to try and sign Nkunku during this summer window, so let’s wait and see if it has a knock-on effect on Garnacho’s future.

Christopher Nkunku should be worth more than Alejandro Garnacho
It’s hard to compare Garnacho and Nkunku’s values since they’re different types of attackers, but we think Nkunku should be a bit pricier given their career to date.
| Club | Apperances | Goals | Assists |
| Manchester United’s | 144 | 26 | 22 |
| Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| RB Leipzig | 172 | 70 | 56 |
| Paris Saint-Germain | 78 | 11 | 4 |
| Chelsea | 62 | 18 | 5 |
As you can see above, Garnacho’s entire first-team career so far has been at Old Trafford, where he’s shown huge glimpses of potential. The young Argentine winger is still a long way from the finished article, though.
As for Nkunku, he should be entering the prime years of his career right now. Even though his form has been hit and miss in Chelsea colours, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him join Bayern and be a hit again in the German Bundesliga.
