Chelsea’s interest in Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has a lot of people talking.
Former Chelsea defender Scott Minto recently spoke about Garnacho, for example. For the retired left-back, he could be the perfect addition to the Blues’ squad.
Rangers legend Ally McCoist, however, is not as convinced and has warned the Club World Cup winners about making a move for him this summer.
That warning is likely to fall on deaf ears, though, as it is being reported that Chelsea are in talks with United over a deal for Garnacho.

Ally McCoist doesn’t think Chelsea need Alejandro Garnacho despite Noni Madueke sale
Chelsea sold Noni Madueke, who started playing on the left towards the end of last season, to Arsenal last month.
Still, McCoist does not think that Garnacho is needed at Stamford Bridge and has warned Chelsea about signing the 21-year-old.
Discussing Chelsea’s interest in Garnacho on talkSPORT, McCoist said: “I’m not having it, no. I think Man United are desperately trying to get rid of him. Stay away. I just don’t think Chelsea need him at this moment in time. I know Madueke’s away across the city, but no.”
Whether Enzo Maresca is in desperate need of Garnacho or not, the chance to sign the Argentina international could prove to be too much of a good opportunity to turn down.
It has been claimed that United could sanction a loan deal for Garnacho, which would make him a low-risk, high-reward signing for Chelsea.

Chelsea do need Alejandro Garnacho
Madueke is not the only wide player who has left Stamford Bridge this summer. Jadon Sancho has also departed, returning to Old Trafford.
It means Jamie Gittens and Tyrique George are the only two available left wingers in Maresca’s squad, while the latter could also end up leaving west London like Madueke and Sancho.

While they do not want to do a swap deal involving Xavi Simons, RB Leipzig have George on their radar.
If Chelsea go on to land Simons, he would also be an option for the left flank. But as things stand, the Blues probably need someone like Garnacho right now.
A lot of supporters would like to see George stay, with the 19-year-old being an academy graduate. If that does not happen and Simons does not arrive, though, then the club will have no choice but to bring in another left winger.
