After failing to reach an agreement with Chelsea, Victor Osimhen left Napoli for Galatasaray on loan.
However, it is very unlikely that Chelsea supporters have heard the last of this. Despite Victor Osimhen joining Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal, there is still a possibility of him moving to west London in January.
It has been claimed that Chelsea are one club who can sign Osimhen thanks to a break clause.
Just as they did during the summer, though, the Blues could face competition for his signature in the new year.

Victor Osimhen’s agent exploring multiple options
Al-Ahli were Chelsea’s main rival for Osimhen during the summer, and it could be a similar theme in January.
According to CaughtOffside, while the Nigerian’s agent remains in contact with Chelsea, he is also speaking to clubs in Italy, Spain and Saudi Arabia.
Another centre-forward whom the Blues could target in 2025 is Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.
It is believed that Chelsea are monitoring Watkins right now, though a January deal seems very unlikely. The 28-year-old is Unai Emery’s best player, scoring 19 goals in the Premier League last season.
Nicolas Jackson could delay Victor Osimhen move
Chelsea may just hold off from making a move for Osimhen until next summer because of Nicolas Jackson.
The Senegal international has had his goalscoring boots on so far this season and if he keeps them on until January, then Chelsea may opt against signing Osimhen before re-evaluating things again at the end of the campaign.
Of course, Osimhen may no longer be available at that point, but Jackson is giving Enzo Maresca reason to persist with him.
Following his brace against West Ham United over the weekend, only two players have scored more goals than the 23-year-old in the Premier League.
Pat Nevin thinks Jackson is a different player compared to last season in a good way. Hopefully he continues improving.
