Chelsea target Mathys Tel is definitely one name to keep an eye on ahead of next Monday’s transfer deadline.
Despite his lack of game time at Bayern Munich this season, it was thought that Mathys Tel was happy to remain with Vincent Kompany’s squad.
However, after a run of three games where the forward did not play a single one, he appears to have changed his mind about staying at the Allianz Arena.
It is good for Chelsea, who have Tel on their shortlist. Yet the Blues are still at risk of missing out on his signature.

Chelsea face competition from other Premier League clubs for Mathys Tel
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the story that Tel wants to leave Bayern in the January transfer window.
It represents a dramatic U-turn after claims that the 19-year-old was planning on staying in Germany beyond the deadline.
Since it emerged that Tel is now eyeing an exit, a report from L’Equipe has stated that other big English clubs have joined Chelsea in the race for the French youngster.
It is another swift development that is making this transfer saga surrounding Tel a really exciting one.

Which other Premier League clubs are interested in Mathys Tel?
L’Equipe’s report did not mention which English clubs are keen on Tel, other than Chelsea.
However, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United are one Premier League side who have the France U21 international on their radar.
He has claimed that if either Alejandro Garnacho or Marcus Rashford leave Old Trafford during this transfer window, then United will consider entering the race for Tel.
Garnacho is, of course, also a target for Chelsea. Amid interest from the Blues, though, it is thought that Ruben Amorim wants to keep hold of Garnacho.
Whether it is Tel or Garnacho, Enzo Maresca could probably do with a new left winger arriving at Stamford Bridge, as Mykhailo Mudryk is still suspended without a return date.
