Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion looks set to become Chelsea’s next signing in what has been a very busy transfer window for the club.
So far this summer, Chelsea have brought in seven new faces, with Filip Jorgensen being their latest arrival.
They have also signed Marc Guiu from Barcelona, but with Samu Omorodion now expected to join the club, there is probably a good possibility of the 18-year-old leaving Stamford Bridge on loan.
If not, Guiu will look to help this Chelsea team, whose aim in the new season will be to qualify for the Champions League.
The Blues kick-off their Premier League campaign with the visit of champions Manchester City.

What Enzo Maresca likes about Samu Omorodion
New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is about to get his hands on Omorodion, who will arrive in west London to provide competition to Nicolas Jackson.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have now agreed a £35m fee with Atletico to sign Omorodion.
Still being just 20 years of age, the Atletico player is obviously a young and inexperienced striker.
However, his aggressive physicality in the box really appeals to Maresca, one report from the Daily Mail claims.
Atletico fans are upset about Omorodion leaving their club, but the Spanish outfit will be bringing Julian Alvarez in from Manchester City.
Chelsea could have signed a more proven striker like Ivan Toney
In the end, Chelsea have gone for Omorodion, but there were certainly more proven options out there than the Spain U21 international.
Brentford’s Ivan Toney, for example, is into the final year of his contract. The Bees would have had to consider a good offer from Chelsea.
The England international is 28 years of age and has Premier League experience. Atletico-bound Alvarez also has more pedigree than Omorodion.
Chelsea did think about signing Alvarez, but his price tag was probably an issue for them. He is set to join Diego Simeone’s side in an £82m deal, according to Sky Sports.
