EA Sports FC 25 player ratings are here! The Chelsea Chronicle looks at the five most underrated Blues players in the new game.

Chelsea have underperformed in two consecutive seasons so most of the team can have no complaints about their relatively low ratings.

The likes of Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Christopher Nkunku have even been downgraded after disappointing 2023/24 campaigns for one reason or another.

However, some Blues players performed well last season, despite the team’s struggles, and deserved more credit from EA than they have received, as The Chelsea Chronicle explains.

Underrated Chelsea players in EA Sports FC 25

Malo Gusto

Reece James barely played last season due to injury but, thankfully for Chelsea, Malo Gusto stepped up in the captain’s absence.

The Frenchman was a model of consistency in a team whose form fluctuated massively – defensively solid and creative in attacking areas.

Levi Colwill

It is fair to say that Levi Colwill underwhelmed under Mauricio Pochettino last season but he was often asked to play at left-back – which does not suit him.

And, Colwill was already really underrated before the start of the last campaign – having deserved an 80 rating after his superb loan spell at Brighton.

Cole Palmer

Cole Palmer received one of the largest rating increases in the history of the EA Sports FC/FIFA franchise – up 19 from 66 to 85.

Still, 85 does not truly reflect his standing as one of the best players in the Premier League, considering Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister is 86 and Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez is 87.

Pedro Neto

Pedro Neto only played 20 Premier League games for Wolves in the 2023/24 season but he provided an excellent two goals and nine assists.

His injury history is a concern but the winger is one of the most dynamic in Europe and deserves to be at least 81.

Nicolas Jackson

Nicolas Jackson is not only underrated on EA Sports FC 25 but the entire football landscape. The consensus is that he is not good enough.

Instead, the 23-year-old – who registered 14 goals and five assists in his debut Premier League season – is a well-rounded forward with world-class potential – if he can become more clinical.
