It has been claimed that AC Milan wanted to agree a deal with Chelsea to sign Joao Felix on Saturday.
That never happened, but it does not look like that is the end of it. Joao Felix could still end up joining AC Milan before Monday’s transfer deadline.
Chelsea reportedly asked for Jhon Duran in talks with Aston Villa about Felix and Axel Disasi, but that is no longer an option after the striker’s move to Saudi Arabia.
It means the San Siro is still the most likely destination for Felix, who will be hoping for more game time wherever he ends up if the forward does leave Chelsea. This season, Felix has made just three starts in the Premier League.

AC Milan will try again to agree deal with Chelsea to sign Joao Felix
On Friday, it was reported that super agent Jorge Mendes was set to speak to Milan about Felix.
The following day, TEAMtalk claimed that Milan were hoping to finalise a deal with Chelsea to sign Felix within the next 24 hours.
Milan failed to do that, but the same outlet stated that the Italian giants would try to agree a deal again on Sunday if they could not get things over the line on Saturday.
It could be a massive 24 hours, then, in the Felix saga, with his future right up in the air.

Joao Felix’s stance on potential transfer to AC Milan
According to TEAMtalk’s report, Felix is open to joining Milan before the January transfer window closes.
It makes sense. Again, the 25-year-old has not had too many starting opportunities under Enzo Maresca this season.
With Cole Palmer at the club, it is also unlikely that Felix will ever break into the Chelsea first team and remain there.
A player of his quality, Maresca should be looking to keep hold of the Portuguese and utilise him more. However, from Felix’s perspective, a move today or tomorrow could be a good thing.
