Chelsea supporters were in an unforgiving mood during their side’s 3-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.
It is understandable, as Enzo Maresca‘s men headed into the game in really bad form. Before their victory over Wolves, they had failed to claim three points from any of their last five fixtures.

Tosin Adarabioyo helped Chelsea to end their winless run after he opened the scoring against Vitor Pereira’s team in the 24th minute.
However, Matt Doherty managed to cancel out his strike after some terrible goalkeeping from Robert Sanchez, and that left Chelsea fans far from impressed.

Chelsea fans mock Robert Sanchez
Chelsea fans on social media slammed Sanchez after his latest error, while supporters at the ground were also disappointed with their shot-stopper.
There was one moment during the game where Sanchez caught an easy header from Reece James, which came after his gaffe, and it was met by ironic cheers from the Stamford Bridge faithful.
Clearly, the home supporters were not amused by the goalkeeping they had seen from the 27-year-old earlier.
This is not the first time that Sanchez has come in for criticism this season. Former Chelsea goalie Mark Schwarzer was very critical of Sanchez after his role in the Blues’ 2-1 defeat to west London rivals Fulham last month.

Enzo Maresca needs to give Filip Jorgensen a chance after Robert Sanchez’s latest blunder
Simply put, Sanchez is costing Chelsea too many goals. This season, he has made four errors that have directly resulted in his side conceding.
| Rank | Player | Errors leading to goal |
| 1. | Arijanet Muric | 5 |
| 2. | Taylor Harwood-Bellis | 4 |
| 2. | Robert Sanchez | 4 |
At this point, his deputy Filip Jorgensen deserves a chance in the Premier League, especially after some of his performances in the Conference League.
For whatever reason, though, Maresca is hell-bent on persisting with Sanchez. Let’s hope the Italian’s loyalty to the Spain international does not come back to haunt him.
Sanchez will have to be at his best in Chelsea’s next outing, with Maresca’s men travelling to the Etihad on Saturday to face a rejuvenated Manchester City side.
