Chelsea players more than earned their celebrations on Sunday night after an 11 month season came to an end with a second trophy.
The Blues ran riot against Champions League winners PSG in the Club World Cup final, winning 3-0 after an untouchable performance from a number of their key players.
Cole Palmer earned praise from Luis Enrique after the match for his performance, while Joao Pedro continued his excellent start to life as a Chelsea player with his third goal in two starts for the club.
Defensively, the Blues were outstanding too. Malo Gusto enjoyed his best display for Chelsea at a time when his place in the squad may have been starting to come under pressure.

Enzo Fernandez and Liam Delap praise Robert Sanchez for Club World Cup performance
The backline will have been given tremendous confidence by their goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, who was as solid as a rock up against the best attack in world football.
French media praised Sanchez for his performance, and given how much criticism has come his way, he will have been delighted to pick up the Golden Glove award at the conclusion of the tournament.

The Spaniard celebrated his achievement on his Instagram page, with a number of Chelsea players responding in the comments with praise.
Liam Delap simply stated ‘the best’, while Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Tosin Adarabioyo were all quick to praise the goalkeeper for his performance.

Up until now, there has been no certainty over whether Sanchez would be given the gloves for the 2025/26 season, even though Djordje Petrovic is set to move to Bournemouth.

John Obi Mikel refuses to give up Robert Sanchez grudge
One of Sanchez’s biggest critics since his £25m move from Brighton has been former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel.
The Blues legend slammed Sanchez for his performance in the semi-final, despite keeping a clean sheet against Fluminense.
Things were no different after the final either. Mikel said Chelsea still need a new goalkeeper despite Sanchez’s excellent performance.
One of the biggest criticisms of Sanchez has been his distribution, however even that was of top quality against PSG. His passing helped set up Palmer’s opening goal.
