Enzo Maresca has been speaking about Chelsea’s attack in the build-up to his side’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers later.
Nicolas Jackson has come in for a bit of stick lately after missing some big chances for Chelsea during their barren run of form.
Craig Burley tore into Jackson after his performance in the Blues’ 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
However, Maresca thinks Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto also need to take more responsibility when it comes to scoring goals.

Enzo Maresca warns Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto they need to score more goals
Jackson is taking most of the heat right now, but Maresca has made it clear that it is also down to Chelsea’s other attackers to win games for the team.
Speaking about Jackson, Sancho and Neto in his recent pre-match press conference, which has been shared by Chelsea’s official website, Maresca said: “We have the third-best attack in the Premier League, so we score many goals, but the way the team is playing we can score more goals.
“It is not about just Nico. Probably in terms of wingers we can score more goals for the amount of times that we arrive and put our wingers in positions one-v-one in the box, like Pedro and Jadon. Hopefully they can start soon to score goals.”
Maresca has been pleased with Sancho overall, though, recently praising the winger.

How many goals have Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto scored this season?
In the Premier League, Sancho has scored twice, while Neto has only managed to net once.
Neto’s sole strike was a great one against Arsenal, however. It is just a shame that Chelsea supporters have not seen more of the same since.
| Player | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Jadon Sancho | 17 | 2 | 4 |
| Pedro Neto | 24 | 3 | 5 |
While Maresca has been mostly satisfied with Sancho, you would not blame him if he was a bit disappointed with Neto.
There was a lot of excitement when Chelsea brought Neto in from their upcoming opponents last summer after his majestic performances at Molineux. But again, he has just not done enough in a blue shirt.
Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy enjoyed Neto’s display against Morecambe earlier this month, but you would expect a £50m attacker to play well against League Two opposition. He now needs to put in that kind of performance in the Premier League and on a consistent basis, only then will Neto justify his fee and Chelsea’s decision to buy him in the last summer transfer window.
