There are a few players in Chelsea’s squad who have really performed this season, helping the team to climb to fourth in the table.
The above obviously includes Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer, who has carried on straight from where he left off last term.
The 22-year-old was unable to score in his side’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United last weekend but is still having a strong campaign. In 10 Premier League appearances, he has registered 12 goal contributions.
Moises Caicedo is another individual who is not doing too badly either to say the least. Jason Cundy recently praised Caicedo for being a leader on the pitch.

Janusz Michallik praises Moises Caicedo
With Palmer having a quiet game for once, it was Caicedo who came to the rescue for Chelsea in their draw with United, scoring a superb volley to level things up.
Gabriel Agbonlahor thought Caicedo was “outstanding”, while another pundit, Janusz Michallik, has also heaped praise on the midfielder following his display at Old Trafford.
Discussing Caicedo on ESPN, the former USA international said: “You can see that those expectations of the biggest transfer out there, his injuries… now he’s got the power.
“He’s got the ability to roam everywhere, show his strength, show his quality, something we’ve talked so much about when just about every team in the league wanted him.”
Moises Caicedo’s numbers vs Manchester United
Caicedo was arguably Chelsea’s best player on the pitch and not just because he scored one of the goals of the season so far.
In the middle, the 23-year-old was excellent as he stopped United’s attacks and helped Chelsea to win the ball back.

That has been the theme of Caicedo’s season so far really. Without the Ecuador international, Enzo Maresca‘s midfield would just not be the same.
According to WhoScored, Caicedo is making 3.5 tackles per game this term, which is the highest average in Chelsea’s squad.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion star cannot rest on his laurels, though. Chelsea have another hard test when they face Arsenal at Stamford Bridge this Sunday.
If Chelsea win that, then they will remain in the top four. So Maresca will be hoping for another big performance from Caicedo.
