Chelsea were again extremely busy with both signings and sales during the recent summer transfer window.
They did a fair amount of their business in the final few days of the window, however one deal they were not able to get over the line was Victor Osimhen.
The Blues walked away from the potential signing in the final few hours of deadline day after it was deemed that they couldn’t get it done on their terms.

It was a pattern of how the summer window went as a whole for Chelsea, with them seeming to walk away from deals that could break their wage structure.
This seemed to be the case with their former top target, Michael Olise, who ended up joining Bayern Munich in the summer.
Bayern Munich think Michael Olise was a bargain
The Frenchman hasn’t taken long to make a real impact for his new side, and he reminded Chelsea fans of his quality in the Champions League this week.
Fabrizio Romano has stated that Bayern Munich are absolutely delighted with the signing, and actually think the price they have paid is a bargain.
He said: “Bayern are extremely happy with Michael Olise, not just for his three goals in the last two games.
Impact has been excellent and Bayern believe it’s been a bargain for £45m + £5m add-ons. Management and staff both see huge potential as he can develop a lot and quickly.”
Chelsea signed Jadon Sancho on deadline day
Chelsea made plenty of additions in the attacking area over the summer, with many of them already making an impact on the pitch.
Jadon Sancho enjoyed a strong debut for the Blues off the bench against Bournemouth, with him combining with Christopher Nkunku for the only goal of the game.
Chelsea fans have now called for Sancho to start the next game, with the Blues back in action at the weekend in the London derby against West Ham.
