New Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has claimed that he was amazed by the atmosphere created at Stamford Bridge during Friday’s win over Luton.
He told the official Club website that he enjoyed his first experience of attending the stadium he will now call his home for the foreseeable future.
Petrovic was spotted in attendance on Friday night sitting with club owner Todd Boehly, who was also joined by Reece James and Romeo Lavia.

They were treated to the first win of the Mauricio Pochettino era, as they dispatched of the recently promoted Premier League side.
While Raheem Sterling and Enzo Fernandez had everyone’s eyes firmly on the pitch, there was a big sign into their future transfer activity happening in the stands.
Petrovic has now explained what he noticed about Stamford Bridge during his time there on Friday.
He said: “I was at the game on Friday night against Luton and it was fantastic to experience the atmosphere inside Stamford Bridge.
“It was a good win for the team, our first of the season, and I just can’t wait to help the guys out now and experience it for myself at such a beautiful stadium.

“I grew up watching a lot of Premier League football so it really is a dream for me to be here now. I love the intensity of the league and the passion shown by the supporters.”
It remains to be seen how hard the Serbian will be pushing Robert Sanchez, who has currently taken the gloves in every Premier League game so far.
He picked up his first clean sheet at his new club against Luton, and actually made a couple of good saves to deny their opponents the chance to get back into the game.
