A Chelsea legend and former head coach now looks set to make his return to management for the first time since departing West London.
Frank Lampard is reportedly in line to become Coventry manager, which would be his second job in the Championship after impressing at Derby County in his first job.
It is likely that he will look to his links to Stamford Bridge when it comes to bringing in new players, either permanently or on loan.
Tyrique George is someone who would immediately benefit from working under Lampard, with him already making waves in the first team.
The Englishman will no doubt already have his favourites at Chelsea, and it has been claimed that one of those is Carney Chukwuemeka.

Frank Lampard a big fan of Carney Chukwuemeka
The midfielder is finding appearances of any kind very difficult to come by at the moment, with the strength in depth frequently being mentioned as a reason behind his absence.
Simon Phillips has stated that Lampard is a big fan of Chukwuemeka, as well as a number of players coming through the academy.
He said on his Substack: “We’ve also heard that Lampard admires a number of the Chelsea academy players within the ranks right now, and one player he really likes who isn’t an academy player though, is Carney Chukwuemeka.”
Ipswich Town interested in signing Chukwuemeka
A move for Chukwuemeka to the Championship does seem very unlikely right now, although a shift from Stamford Bridge in January is certainly not off the table.
It has been reported Ipswich are keen on signing Chukwuemeka in January, with them looking to secure their status as a Premier League side for another season.
Chelsea fans have called for Chukwuemeka to be given more minutes this season, however the future is not looking too bright for the youngster.
There is also interest from abroad for the midfielder. Italian clubs are notably top fans of the Englishman.
