Darren Bent predicts that Mauricio Pochettino will attempt to bring Tottenham’s Harry Kane to Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea are still yet to announce their next permanent manager ahead of next season, but Mauricio Pochettino is the man that most of the media thinks will take charge at Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Mail claimed yesterday that Pochettino is close to becoming the next Chelsea boss after ‘incredibly positive’ talks.
If the Blues do appoint the 51-year-old coach, he’ll return to England for the first time since leaving Spurs in 2019.

TalkSPORT pundit Bent is convinced Pochettino would try to raid his former club for Harry Kane if he lands the Chelsea job.
When asked if Spurs could sell Kane to Chelsea, Bent told talkSPORT: “I’m convinced that conversation would happen. Pochettino would probably reach out to Kane himself and say, ‘Listen, do you fancy it?’ The fans would probably turn on him. Judas would be the name.”
Kane’s status as a Spurs legend is cemented. Everyone will continue to mention the fact he’s never won a major piece of silverware in his career, though.
The 29-year-old England captain is one of the world’s elite centre-forwards, scoring 26 goals across all competitions so far this season.
But will he finally exit North London this summer in pursuit of trophies?

The Telegraph claimed back in January that Todd Boehly would love for Chelsea to bring Kane to Stamford Bridge. They did rate any kind of deal as ‘highly unlikely’, though.
However, could the Pochettino factor make any kind of influence?
Graeme Souness called Kane “world class” earlier in the season (Sky Sports). We doubt many would disagree with him.
Chelsea supporters would absolutely love to have a goal machine in their squad next season at the striker position, especially if it frustrated the Spurs fanbase.
We would be astonished if the Premier League star did switch London allegiances and move to Chelsea, though.
