Under Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, Chelsea have signed some top-class players.
Instantly, the likes of Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo come to mind, with the pair now two of the best footballers in the Premier League.
Palmer has been really good in front of goal for the Blues, while you will find it hard to find a better tackler than Caicedo.
However, while Chelsea have managed to bag some real talent since being taken over by Boehly, they have also missed out on some gifted individuals.

Chelsea were close to signing Ousmane Dembele
One player Chelsea looked at following their takeover was Ousmane Dembele, who was at Barcelona at the time.
In fact, according to talkSPORT, Chelsea were the favourites to land Dembele at one stage and he was set to become Boehly’s first signing at the club.
In the end, the winger went on to join Paris Saint-Germain, where he is now thriving. Dembele’s manager Luis Enrique recently told RMC Sport and other publications that his statistics this season have been “incredible”.
Presently, Noni Madueke is the Blues’ first-choice right winger. However, it has been claimed that Chelsea could sell Madueke in the summer.

Ousmane Dembele has proven he could have been a good signing for Chelsea with Champions League performances
The biggest concern with Dembele was obviously his injury record, with the Frenchman missing a lot of games at Barcelona.
He seems to have put that behind him, though, and has now managed to find some real consistency at PSG.
The 27-year-old was excellent for Enrique’s side in their Champions League play-off tie against Brest on Tuesday night, scoring twice to take his tally in the competition to six.
His brace comes after a hat-trick against the same team at the start of the month in Ligue 1. They must be sick of the sight of him!
Chelsea’s performances have been quite stale of late; Enzo Maresca could probably do with an exciting wide man like Dembele right now. Blues fans must be disappointed that the club missed out on him in 2022.
