The likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tosin Adarabioyo and Joao Felix have not been able to make too much impact on the pitch for Chelsea this season.
The trio were just three players Chelsea signed in the last transfer window, but neither is a starter right now.
Adarabioyo has actually managed to make two starts in the Premier League under Enzo Maresca but finds himself behind Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana in the centre-back pecking order.
As for Dewsbury-Hall and Felix, they have not started at all. Pat Nevin wants to see Dewsbury-Hall on the pitch more.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall making an impact behind the scenes
While Dewsbury-Hall is not making an impact on the pitch at the moment, his presence is still being felt at Cobham it seems.
Journalist Simon Phillips shared on his Substack that a source has told him that Dewsbury-Hall is a very “influential” figure in training.
“The club have also acknowledged the lack of leadership, and this is why we have seen more established and proven players like Tosin, Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Jadon Sancho arrive in the summer,” Phillips wrote.
“A source also mentioned how influential Dewsbury-Hall is and can be, especially in training so far. ‘His positive energy is incredible’, a source said.”
It has also been claimed that Dewsbury-Hall is one of the hardest workers at Chelsea.
Why it is so difficult for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to start games
Dewsbury-Hall arrived at Stamford Bridge already knowing the Chelsea manager after working with Maresca at Leicester City.
The midfielder would have been hoping to use his relationship with Maresca to his benefit and become a Chelsea regular.
However, with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez around, that was always going to be a difficult task. It has just got a lot harder as well, as Romeo Lavia now seems to have taken Fernandez’s spot in the team.
There is still the Conference League and Carabao Cup, though. Dewsbury-Hall is going to have to be content with the minutes he gets in those competitions for the time being.
Chelsea play Newcastle United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. The former Leicester man should get a run out in that game.
If he impresses, then maybe Maresca will have something to think about ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Old Trafford this Sunday.
