Journalist Alex Crook has now shared what he has heard from people close to Conor Gallagher after the recent January transfer window.
He told TalkSPORT that he is under the impression that people close to the England international have been very relaxed despite the rumours of a move away from the club.
Gallagher has been a crucial player for the Blues this season, and Mauricio Pochettino has called upon him more than pretty much anyone at the club this season.
With injury problems throughout the campaign to Reece James and Ben Chilwell, he has often donned the captains armband at the club he grew up playing for.
Despite his clear importance to the side, reports have not gone away that he could be up for sale at the right price.
Rumours continued to spread throughout the recently closed January transfer window that he would be available for purchase at the right price, however no official bids came in for him this time.

Crook has now claimed that the people close to the 23-year-old were relaxed throughout last month despite reports that he could have been on his way.
He said: “I’ve been in touch with people close to Conor Gallagher, they’ve been relaxed throughout the window. He’s a regular starter at Chelsea and has every reason to stay.”
Gallagher is likely to be a starter in the biggest game of the season for the club at the end of this month when they lineup at Wembley for the EFL Cup final.
He will know more than most that his side need to put in a better performance this time around compared to earlier this week.
